Full time, warehouse based: 35 hours per week 

Monday – Friday (some evenings and weekends required)

£10.00 per hour – over time available

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time warehouse operative to join our small, friendly team in Birmingham. We are a growing business within the events industry and are now looking for a warehouse operative to work in our Birmingham warehouse, prepping and maintaining lighting and other equipment.  This is a full time position with potential growth and progression as the role and business develops.

You will need to be proactive, self-driven, confident and have a keen interest in the events industry with previous warehouse experience.

 

Job Description

• Prepping equipment ready for hire

• Checking equipment back in after hire

• Testing and maintenance of equipment

• Completing paperwork

• Loading/unloading vehicles

• Upkeep of warehouse space

• Operating fork lift truck

• Liaising with project managers

• Working on site, when required

 

Requirements

• Enthusiastic and keen interest in the events industry

• Previous experience in events industry would be advantageous

• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills

• Technically minded with good practical skills

• Knowledge of lighting equipment advantageous – training will be given

• Fork lift license required – IPAF license advantageous

• Full UK driving licence required
