£22,000 pro rata - £12.00 per hour

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a part-time digital marketing executive to join our small, friendly team in Birmingham. We are a growing business and this is a brand new role which you can make your own.  This is a part time position which may increase as the role and business develops.

We are a Birmingham based professional film studio offering studio facilities and equipment hire.  We have a wide range of clients with varying and exiting shoots and projects.

We also run a busy lighting and equipment hire company (Marklew Productions Ltd) supplying equipment hire for events.

You will need to be proactive, self-driven, confident and ideally have a background or experience in the film and TV industry.

We are looking for someone to head up our marketing campaigns and drive our social media channels across our two brands with interesting and creative content to improve audience interaction and generate new business. You’ll need to take the lead in the day-to-day creation and implementation of strategic marketing plans including creating content, managing posts, email campaigns and new lead generation.

 

Job Description

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals

  • Generate, edit, publish and share creative, engaging content

  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

  • Oversee social media accounts’ design

  • Identify new marketing opportunities

  • Scheduling posts across Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, TikTok and Twitter.

  • Researching local areas to provide greater insight into audience interaction.

  • Generate reports and strategies to share in weekly management meeting.

  • Help to build brand awareness and reputation within the industry

  • Collect customer reviews, testimonials and gather customer feedback

  • Conduct potential client show rounds at the studio

  • Visit site (locally), when required, to collect video content/meet with clients

 

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of social media

  • Familiarity with Wix web design - preferred

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Analytical and multitasking skills

  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)

  • Video editing skills and experience

  • Background/experience in Film and TV and events industry - preferred
